LOGLINE
When fourteen corrupted timelines threaten the integrity of history, two elite agents of Time Travel Incorporated are assigned to repair the damage—but alternate lives, forbidden relationships and memories that refuse to disappear turn a routine timeline restoration into a deeply personal war over which reality deserves to survive.
THE STORY
At Time Travel Incorporated, history isn't something that simply happens. It is something that must be protected.
The company's Time Line Management division deploys highly trained agents across time to identify unauthorized alterations, eliminate compromised timelines and restore history to its proper course. Their latest problem is considerably larger than expected: fourteen timelines exist that shouldn't.
At the center of the temporal disaster is Dr. Nora Bains — Agent Nine, an accomplished Timeline Protection and Restoration Agent whose assignment has become inseparable from her personal life. What should have been another mission has fractured into alternate versions of herself, conflicting realities and relationships that were never supposed to survive the job. In one timeline, Bains is fighting to return to the husband and daughter she loves. In another, a version of Bains is willing to kill to preserve the life she believes belongs to her.
Standing between these competing realities is Agent 13, the agency's newly appointed Assistant Director. Intelligent, formidable and uniquely capable of moving between the opposing sides, Thirteen is tasked with helping restore the timelines while protecting Agent Nine from enemies—including another version of herself. But Thirteen is hardly an impartial observer. Her own romantic history has crossed timeline boundaries, placing her in violation of the very laws she is responsible for enforcing. Then there is Agent Zero, whose relationship with Bains proves that even highly trained temporal agents cannot always separate assignment from emotion. As loyalties shift and alternate histories collide, the people responsible for protecting the timeline become the very people threatening its stability.
What begins as an assignment to repair history becomes something far more dangerous:
Which life is real when you remember living all of them?
And what happens when fixing time means erasing the people you love?
THE WORLD
Remember to Forget approaches time travel as an established corporate bureaucracy rather than an unexplained phenomenon. Teleportation codes, smartphones, timeline-access privileges, cloaking technology, force fields, memory manipulation and rigid security protocols are simply tools of the profession.
Outside that hidden world, however, ordinary people are beginning to notice.
Mysterious flashes, disappearing strangers and unexplained encounters with sophisticated visitors have become frequent enough that the radio program Soft Thunder openly discusses the growing “time-travel phenomenon.” The agents who were supposed to operate invisibly are becoming increasingly visible—and history is beginning to notice them.
TONE & THEMES
Remember to Forget combines science-fiction thriller, espionage, romance and dark comedy inside a deliberately intimate story about enormous consequences.
Beneath the temporal mechanics is a story about memory, love, identity, sacrifice and emotional consequence. These agents can travel through time, erase memories and eliminate entire timelines—but their technology cannot necessarily erase the emotional experiences created inside them.
The title therefore becomes the central paradox of the film:
Their profession requires them to remember what happened.
Their survival requires them to forget what it meant.
SHORT FILM / BEYOND INFINITY
Remember to Forget is designed to stand independently as a science-fiction short film while also functioning as an episode of the anthology series Beyond Infinity.
Its self-contained timeline crisis provides a complete narrative while the larger mythology of Time Travel Incorporated, its agents, its technology and the consequences of manipulating history creates opportunities for future stories within the Beyond Infinity universe.
By the conclusion, the scope of the assignment is finally revealed: Bains' mission repairs eleven timelines, while Agent 13 is secretly assigned by Effy to resolve the remaining three—bringing all fourteen back into alignment. When Bains eventually returns after experiencing seven years away, she learns that Agent 13 completed those final restorations herself.
